CO-OP Advertising
Co-op advertising offers businesses the ability to extend their marketing budget through the use of additional funds from manufacturers or distributors for print and online advertising and promotions. CAP (Co-op Action Plan) advertising allows suppliers and retailers to share the cost of advertising, providing an excellent opportunity for smaller retailers to participate in high-profile advertising programs they might not otherwise be able to afford. Co-op programs and qualifications vary by manufacturer and range in participation. Assume that co-op advertising dollars exist for every product you carry - then call your Miami Herald advertising rep or our Co-op Department for assistance.
The Miami Herald will provide you with a list of products and manufacturers who have co-op advertising programs. We can give you the dollar amount each manufacturer has set aside for co-op advertising. We help you put together a marketing plan that utilizes co-op funds to your advantage. We create the ad specs that will meet the manufacturers’ requirements.
We simplify the paperwork for your reimbursement claiming purposes.
